The General Administration of Customs in China has made a significant announcement, granting approval for the export of Pakistani milk and dairy products to China. Commencing from November 6, this decision opens doors for the importation of Pakistani dairy items, encompassing both cow’s and camel’s milk, provided they meet the specified criteria.
To ensure the quality and safety of these products, the announcement outlines stringent requirements. These include the sourcing of animals from farms adhering to specific inspection and quarantine conditions.
Furthermore, it provides comprehensive guidelines covering aspects like animal disease management, processing procedures, storage, certification, packaging, transportation, and labeling.
This development holds promise for expanded trade opportunities and collaboration in the dairy industry between Pakistan and China.
