The Ministry of Power Division announced on Thursday that consumers will receive a 77 paisa relief in their electricity tariff for the billing month of August, compared to July. The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a notification regarding the Fuel Cost Adjustment (FCA) for June. According to the statement, the FCA for July was set at Rs 3.33 per unit. However, for the billing month of August, the FCA will be further reduced to Rs 2.56 per unit, providing consumers with additional relief.
