Opportunity for Pakistani Students: 2025 Fulbright Scholarship Program Now Open
The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) is currently inviting applications for the prestigious 2025 Fulbright Scholarship Program. Funded by the US Department of State, this initiative covers both Masters and Ph.D. programs, providing comprehensive support including tuition, textbooks, airfare, living stipend, and health insurance.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Pakistani citizens with a strong academic background, committed to returning to and serving Pakistan, are eligible.
- Emphasis on encouraging women, individuals with disabilities, and candidates from specific regions, including Balochistan, Northern Sindh, Southern Punjab, KP, AJK, and GB.
- Aspirants from all disciplines, except clinical medicine, are eligible.
Ineligibility:
- Individuals with dual U.S./Pakistan nationality or having a U.S. citizen or permanent resident as a spouse, parent, or child over 18.
- Employees/contractors of Fulbright, U.S. Department of State, or USAID, along with their family members.
- Previous recipients of a Fulbright award for any degree program.
- Those currently studying in the U.S. or holding a work/residence/student visa in any country.
Academic Background:
- For the Master’s program, candidates need a four-year Bachelor’s degree or a combination of Bachelor’s and Master’s totaling 16 years of formal education from an accredited university.
- Ph.D. applicants should have a Master’s, M.Phil, or equivalent degree (a minimum of 18 years of formal education) from an accredited university.
Required Documents:
A complete application package includes an application form, three reference letters, GRE score report, and scanned transcripts with an explanation of the grading scale. HEC-attested documents are preferable.
Language Proficiency:
Applicants must submit a GRE score report and successful candidates will need to clear the Duolingo English Test.
