The Punjab government has announced a major reform plan to transition all provincial education boards to a fully digital examination system. The move aims to improve transparency, accuracy, and public trust in the exam process.
As part of the initiative, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore will host a detailed briefing and training session on December 13. Representatives from every board across Punjab are expected to attend the session.
Chairman of the Task Force Committee for Boards, Muzammil Mahmood, said the reform will modernize exam management by reducing human error and strengthening monitoring systems. He added that digital examinations are a key step toward aligning Punjab’s education sector with global standards.
A BISE Lahore spokesperson confirmed that system analysts and computer programmers have been directed to participate in the training session to ensure a smooth rollout. The upcoming workshop marks the first structured step in the province’s plan to digitize examination systems across all boards.
