The Punjab government has announced the launch of 102 state-of-the-art electric buses to improve public transportation in Rawalpindi. Spanning an 84-kilometer network across 10 key routes, this initiative aims to provide a modern, efficient, and eco-friendly travel option for the city’s residents.
Valued at over 7 billion PKR, the project has already received 4.7 billion PKR in funding from the Punjab government. The buses will be managed by the Punjab Mass Transit Authority, ensuring high-quality implementation.
