An effort has been taken for the underprivileged couples under the ‘Dhee Rani’ program initiated by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in the Punjab government. This initiative will make easy the financial burden of the family by providing an ATM card to each couple who is eligible with a Rs100,000 along with furniture, crockery, and clothing for household use.
Ready couples can easily submit their application through the portal at cmp.punjiangov.pk or by simply dialing the helpline number, 1312. There are special teams formed in the government, which thoroughly authenticate the applications with regard to the eligibility criteria.
Besides financial aid, the ‘Dhee Rani’ project will provide food for all wedding events, making their special days even more celebration-worthy for these couples. CM Nawaz said it was very important to get social welfare moving through this particular program. She reiterated to improve and make better lifestyles for Punjab’s underprivileged families.
She also appreciated the 26th constitutional amendment announced, which would help provide timely justice and strengthen the judiciary. This would strengthen the commitment of the government toward making society just.
This is a step forward for supporting those in need and points out the commitment of the Punjab government toward social equity and uplifting marginalized communities.
