On Tuesday, the Punjab Arts Council, in collaboration with Nazariya Pakistan Trust, organized a photo exhibition on the independence movement at Divisional Public School. Add’l Deputy Commissioner Zunaira Aftab was the chief guest at the event.
The exhibition featured a stunning display of the Pakistan movement through the artistic talents of young artists. Zunaira Aftab emphasized the importance of understanding Pakistan’s history for the younger generation, highlighting how Pakistan was founded and the key figures involved in its creation.
The chief guest praised the rare and unique photographs showcased, noting that they reflected the artists’ knowledge and creativity.
Additionally, book stalls with rare and informative books on the Pakistan Movement were set up. Deputy Director PAC Rawalpindi, Muhammad Shakur, noted that the exhibition aimed to remind people of the immense sacrifices made for freedom, aligning with the Government of Punjab’s vision to prioritize educational programs for youth.
The exhibition was attended by Divisional Public School and College faculty, Professor Zahid Javed from Nazariya Pakistan Trust, and many female students, who appreciated the artworks and book stalls. A visual documentary of the Pakistan Movement was also screened during the event.
