The government has launched the PM Electric Bike & Rickshaw Scheme 2025 under the PAVE program, offering interest-free loans, subsidies, and easy installments to make eco-friendly transport affordable.
Eligibility: Pakistani citizens (18–65 yrs), valid CNIC & license, no loan defaults. Quotas: 25% women, 10% delivery riders, 10% Balochistan. Students & low-income workers get priority.
Installments:
- Bikes: Starting from Rs6,163/month (after Rs50,000 subsidy)
- Rickshaws/Loaders: From Rs10,333/month
Apply online: pave.gov.pk between Sept 1–30, 2025. If applications exceed quota, balloting will be held on Oct 1, 2025.
This scheme will reduce fuel costs, support clean transport, and empower low- & middle-income citizens.
