Pakhtun Wardrobe, a sustainable fashion brand founded by Haris Badar in 2015, has successfully secured investment from Shark Tank investor Junaid Iqbal and Mr. Shezad Mumtaz, CEO of Allied Services – a leading name in the Human Resources sector.
The announcement comes after the startup cleared a rigorous due diligence process led by Saiduddin & Co, covering legal, financial, commercial, and operational assessments.
Specializing in reviving traditional crafts of footwear and shawls through modern commerce, Pakhtun Wardrobe has built a reputation for preserving heritage while offering a fully digital customer experience.
“We’re thrilled to close this deal and welcome Junaid and Shahzad on board. With this investment, we hope to accelerate growth and expand beyond Pakistan, especially into the Middle East,” said Haris Badar, Founder & CEO of Pakhtun Wardrobe.
Junaid Iqbal, Founder & CEO of Salt Ventures, praised the brand’s deep roots in craftsmanship, stating:
“Haris and his team have built a formidable business, rooted in a craft passed down through generations, woven with a fully digital customer experience. We are excited to be a part of this journey.”
Ammar Athar Saeed, Partner at Saiduddin & Co, emphasized the importance of corporate governance:
“Pakhtun Wardrobe cleared every step of our comprehensive due diligence process. Implementing high governance standards from the beginning is essential for growth, sustainability, and institutionalization.”
With fresh funding and strategic backing, Pakhtun Wardrobe aims to scale operations, boost exports, and introduce Pakistan’s heritage-inspired fashion to global audiences.
