A free meal program is being implemented by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in all federal government schools located in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
About forty elementary schools are expected to get midday meals this week as part of the first phase. In particular, kids in 20 schools in the Tarnol and Nelore districts will receive free lunches out of these 40 schools.
The Federal Directorate of Education’s primary schools will now offer free meals to students in addition to other amenities, according to Secretary of Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani.
About the meal program, the Secretary of Education told the press that the Allah Waley Trust and the government are providing lunches for the kids. Free meals and other facilities would be available for kids attending elementary schools under the Federal Directorate of Education’s supervision, according to Secretary of Education Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani.
