Jul 15 (APP): Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the commencement of admissions for the Autumn 2024 semester’s first phase. The application deadline for Matric, FA, and I.Com programs is September 5th, while for MBA, BS, MS, MPhil, and PhD programs, the deadline is August 20th, according to a press release on Monday.
Application forms for Matric, FA, and I.Com programs are available at the University’s main campus, regional offices, liaison offices, and prospect selling points. For MBA, BS, MS, MPhil, and PhD programs, admissions are exclusively online, with application forms and prospectuses accessible on the University’s website.
International students worldwide can apply for Matric, FA, and I.Com programs. Other programs for international students will be available in the second phase, starting from September 1st. The University supports international students with an online management system for submitting assignments and taking exams. Admission forms and prospectuses can be downloaded from the University’s website at http://online.aiou.edu.pk.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Nasir Mahmood stated that 1200 international students from 37 countries enrolled in previous semesters, and the university aims to increase this number to 50,000.
