Over 600 exhibitors from around the globe, including Pakistan, are showcasing their textile products at TEXWORLD-2024, which kicked off in New York on Tuesday. The exhibition, held at the massive Javit’s Centre, saw a significant number of buyers on its opening day and will run for three days.
TEXWORLD-2024, regarded as the leading sourcing event on the United States’ east coast, features thousands of fabrics and garments from hundreds of international textile manufacturers and suppliers, presented in both traditional and hybrid formats.
Sponsored by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), seven Pakistani companies are participating as exhibitors. Pakistan’s Consul General in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, along with Adnan Awan, the Trade & Investment Counsellor in New York, visited the booths of the Pakistani companies. These companies reported productive meetings with quality buyers.
Many buyers also visited TDAP’s booth, showing interest in sourcing opportunities from Pakistan and expressing interest in Texpo, another textile exhibition scheduled to be held in Karachi in October this year.
