Zong 4G, a leading telecommunications company in Pakistan, is embarking on the implementation of its collaboration with Knowledge Platform, a prominent education technology company.
Together, they are launching the “Digital Scholars Program,” an innovative initiative aimed at transforming education in 60 schools, benefiting 3,000 students across Pakistan.
The Zong Digital Scholars Program is a crucial part of Zong’s Sustainability Initiative, with a focus on improving education in remote and under-resourced areas across the country. The selected schools are located in marginalized areas, and the program aims to provide technology-driven education.
Previously, Zong 4G has partnered with organizations such as PAGE, HANDS, and PBM to establish digital labs across the country, enhancing the digitalization of schools and vocational centers.
At the core of the Zong Digital Scholars Program is the Math Tutoring Program for Grades 9 and 10, developed in collaboration with Knowledge Platform and school teachers. Additionally, there is an English & Sciences Self-study Program covering a comprehensive range of subjects for Grades 9 and 10, including Biology, Chemistry, English, General Science, Mathematics, and Physics.
Participating schools will have access to various resources, including lesson plans, assessment tools, and educational games and videos. Zong is committed to providing the necessary tools to create a conducive learning environment in schools.
The Zong Digital Scholars program will recognize and celebrate high-performing students, teachers, and schools on both a monthly and annual basis, emphasizing Zong’s dedication to encouraging excellence in education.
