Syeda Rida Batool Kazmi has been sworn in as the first-ever female chief minister of the Sindh Children’s Parliament, winning with 40 votes.

Her opponent, Ashok Kumar, a 9th-grade student from GHS Mithi Tharparkar, earned 24 votes and took on the role of opposition leader.

Supported by UNICEF, Thar Education Alliance, Sindh Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD), and Reform Support Unit (RSU), the Sindh Children’s Parliament serves as a vital platform for youth representation.
