DUBAI – Pakistan’s left arm pacer, Shaheen Afridi, has risen three spots to reach the fourth position in the latest ICC ODI bowler rankings that were published on Wednesday. Afridi’s resurgence has come after his outstanding performance against Australia in the first ODI at Melbourne where he trapped a couple of vital wickets of Matthew Short and Josh Inglis.
Meanwhile, in the ICC Men’s Test Batter Rankings, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Agha, and Babar Azam all featured while improving their standings for Pakistan but none broke into the top 10.Other beneficiaries from this series in the Test rankings for the batters who have faced the third test recently, New Zealand locked up a close 25-run victory over India in Mumbai and thus completed a 3-0 series sweep. India’s Rishabh Pant and New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell also benefitted from this series.
