Major development marks in the strategic expansion of the oil giant from Saudi Arabia, Aramco, as its second branded fuel station was opened on one of Islamabad’s prime locations, Embassy Road. The first launch came in Lahore, which is a new stride taken by Aramco towards a promise of developing better fuel services in Pakistan in line with the company’s vision for the premium provision of consumer-centric services in this region. Islamabad station offers luxury facilities, including electric vehicle charging stations, a convenience store, and a dedicated tyre shop-another step to increase customer experience and innovation in fuel retailing in Pakistan.
This marks the latest development in Aramco’s continued effort to solidify economic cooperation with Pakistan. This is also underpinned by a strategic associate partnership between the company and Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd (GO), of which it holds 40% equity. By operating more than 1,200 fuel stations throughout Pakistan under GO, Aramco aims to introduce its premium “ProForce” fuel and Valvoline lubricants along with globally classified service standards. The effort further encourages economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, designing a win-win cooperation, which involves crucial investments and infrastructural projects【27†source】【28†source】.
It marks the first step toward expanding its footprint across the country, with the opening of more stations and building its brand presence throughout the coming years. The Islamabad service station not only gives quality fuel but also new services that might be a case for an upgrade of services at all local fuel stations, hence closing the gap among Pakistani consumers and setting a new benchmark for service excellence.
