Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Monday affirmed the government’s dedication to investing in modern skills and professional education for the youth.
In his message on World Youth Skills Day, the prime minister emphasized that Pakistan’s greatest asset is its talented youth. Equipping them with modern skills is essential for securing the country’s future.
He noted that the government is providing the youth with modern education, equal development opportunities, and professional training to enable them to compete globally.
The prime minister reiterated the government’s commitment to sending 300,000 youth for vocational training in information technology and 1,000 for modern agriculture training in China.
He stressed that the government prioritizes women and youth from remote and underdeveloped areas of the country.
National-level training programs in information technology continue, with millions of students enhancing their skills both within and outside Pakistan through these initiatives.
The prime minister mentioned ongoing reforms in the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) and its partner institutions to provide marketable skills and professional training to thousands of youth.
He assured that the government is committed to ensuring modern skills and professional training for the youth, fostering their development and dignified employment across various fields.
