Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will restart flights to Europe on January 10, 2025, following the European Union’s decision to lift a four-year suspension. The first flight will operate from Islamabad to Paris, with two weekly flights scheduled on Fridays and Sundays.

PIA has secured approval for its flight schedule, with bookings set to open on December 9 for Boeing 777 flights. The airline, grounded in 2020 after a tragic crash and pilot license scandal, has since worked to meet European aviation safety standards. Talks are also underway to resume flights to the UK, though the U.S. ban remains in place.
