The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) has officially launched the 4th Health, Engineering & Minerals Show (HEMS) 2025 at the Lahore Expo Centre. The three-day event, which runs from April 17 to 19, is aimed at boosting Pakistan’s trade potential and promoting innovation across key sectors.
Global Businesses Gather Under One Roof
This year’s show has drawn participation from over 180 local and 160 international companies. With exhibitors and buyers from around the world, HEMS is becoming a key platform for building trade links and encouraging cross-border partnerships.

Tapping into Pakistan’s Untapped Mineral Potential
Punjab’s Minister for Industries, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, emphasized Pakistan’s mineral wealth — especially in copper and zinc. He announced plans for a new industrial estate in the Salt Range and a pharmaceutical zone in Sheikhupura, which are expected to drive industrial growth and exports.
Youth Innovation Takes Center Stage
A special section at the expo has been dedicated to startups and university projects, putting a spotlight on the creativity and research being done by young engineers. The newly launched Mineral Investment Pavilion also highlights opportunities for investors in Pakistan’s underexplored mining sector.
Pakistan’s Growing Presence in Global Trade
With the participation of international delegates, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders, HEMS 2025 is helping Pakistan strengthen its image in global markets. The event is part of TDAP’s wider strategy to attract foreign investment and promote local industries on the international stage.
