Hailing from the underdeveloped region of Waziristan in Pakistan, 17-year-old Younas Mehsud has etched his name in the Guinness World Records by executing an astounding 265 full-extension punches with one arm in just one minute.
Surpassing the previous record of 214 punches held by an Egyptian athlete, Younas credits his success to the guidance of renowned Pakistani martial artist Irfan Mehsood, who himself holds over 70 Guinness World Records. Notably, Younas didn’t stop at one record; he also achieved delivering one-hand punches within a minute while holding a 1kg weight.
Expressing a clear ambition to further his success in martial arts, Younas Mehsud is determined to pursue additional records in the future. Beyond individual accomplishments, this story sheds light on the emergence of talent from regions facing socio-economic challenges.
