Jamil Rizvi, hailing from Pakistan, secured the top position and won the gold medal in the Men’s Blue Belt category at the AFG Open Evolution Jiu-Jitsu tournament. Alex Bin claimed the second spot, while the third place was shared by Daniel Ekwuazi and Moeun Lim Sopanha.
Rizvi shared his excitement on Instagram, posting a snapshot from the awards ceremony and expressing his gratitude;
“Today, I achieved the gold medal in the open weight division of the AFG Open in Bangkok, Thailand. This competition was the most challenging in my life, but I’m thankful for my incredible team, corner woman, and coach. I want to thank @eman_suleman for her support, and coach @bjj_jazzie for dedicating time and effort to help me gain the confidence and skills to represent your Jiu-Jitsu wherever I compete.”
