The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), in partnership with five private tour operator businesses, enthusiastically represented Pakistan and its tourism potential at the MATTA, Malaysia Tourism Fair 2024. The Pakistan pavilion at MATTA was inaugurated by Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Malaysia, Syed Ahsan Raza Shah, according to a news release released here.
The national MATTA expo is held twice a year in Kuala Lumpur, from March 22nd to 24th, and attracts over 180,000 visitors. Aftab ur Rehman Rana, Managing Director of PTDC, stated in his statement, “We are happy to represent Pakistan at the MATTA, Malaysia Tourism Fair 2024. This forum provides an ideal opportunity to highlight Pakistan’s diversified and rich tourism products to the international community.
We are committed to promoting Pakistan as a preferred tourist destination and believe that our involvement would strengthen bilateral tourism links between Pakistan and Malaysia.”
Pakistan’s pavilion at the exhibition drew a large number of visitors, including travel agencies, tour operators, and travel lovers, who expressed a strong desire to learn more about Pakistan’s tourism attractions and cultural heritage.
Pakistan’s participation in the MATTA, Malaysia Tourism Fair 2024, demonstrates the country’s ongoing efforts to revitalize and promote its tourism sector on a global scale, with the goal of attracting an increasing number of foreign tourists to experience Pakistan’s natural beauty, cultural diversity, and welcoming hospitality.
