Pakistan will host three Test series, an ODI tri-series, and the Champions Trophy 2025 as part of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) 2024-25 home season. Over the next eight months, Pakistan will welcome 12 teams and host an ICC event.
The season begins with Bangladesh playing two Tests in Rawalpindi (August 21-25) and Karachi (August 30-September 3). It concludes with the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final on March 9.
England will play three Tests in Multan (October 7-11), Karachi (October 15-19), and Rawalpindi (October 24-28). The West Indies will visit for two Tests in Karachi (January 16-20) and Multan (January 24-28). New Zealand and South Africa will compete in an ODI tri-series in Multan from February 8 to 14.
Pakistan will also tour Australia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa from November 4 to January 7, playing two Tests, nine ODIs, and nine T20Is.
Between August 2024 and March 2025, Pakistan will play nine Tests, nine T20Is, and at least 14 ODIs. The PCB will also plan an expanded domestic season and women’s events. The HBL Pakistan Super League 2025 is set for April/May 2025.
The nine Tests against Bangladesh, England, South Africa, and the West Indies are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25. Pakistan currently sits fifth on the points table, aiming for the final at Lord’s in June 2025.
Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi will host seven Tests and four ODIs. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium is being redeveloped for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 and will host most high-profile matches from February 19 to March 9. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of finalizing the schedule and thanked visiting teams. Bangladesh Cricket Board Chief Executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury and captain Najmul Hossain Shanto expressed their excitement for the series in Pakistan.
