For the first time, Pakistan is hosting the prestigious Asian Championship of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), marking a significant milestone in the sport’s history. The tournament will kick off with a highly anticipated match between Indian fighter Shrikant and Pakistani fighter Rizwan Ali.
The event will see participation from 12 countries, and Lahore will also host the Brave Combat, featuring 11 teams. The opening ceremony will have Rana Mashhood, Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program, as the chief guest.
The competition will bring together over 180 fighters, supported by 120 officials and 120 technical staff. Umar Ahmed, President of the Pakistan MMA Federation, expressed pride in hosting the event, promising top-notch hospitality for all participating teams, including India.
