The Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) has established One Window Facilitation Desks (OWFDs) at all international airports in Pakistan, providing round-the-clock assistance to overseas Pakistanis. Located at each terminal (International arrival/departure), these desks offer a range of services to ensure a high level of facilitation for passengers.
Courteous and trained officials are deputed at OWFDs to provide top-quality assistance to overseas Pakistanis. The infrastructure at OWFDs has been upgraded, and additional facilities and services have been introduced at various airports to improve service delivery.
According to an official source, OWFDs offer various services, including necessary assistance to overseas Pakistanis during arrival and departure. They coordinate with various agencies and departments at the airport to ensure a smooth travel experience for overseas Pakistani passengers.
Special assistance is provided to physically challenged passengers, senior citizens, and those not in good health. The desks also help with lost and found baggage, service improvements, and complaints at airports. Necessary guidance for connecting flights and travel advisories within Pakistan is also available.
Information material about OPF and its projects is provided at all international arrival/departure lounges. OPF also offers ambulance services free of cost from the airport to the deceased or disabled overseas Pakistanis’ native towns/villages. OPF staff facilitates the deceased’s family in clearing human remains and coordinating timely transportation with the ambulance service.
The OPF Airport Facilitation counters remain vigilant for any repatriation of overseas Pakistanis from abroad, offering every possible assistance for their onward journey to their hometowns.
