The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has expanded its M-Tag installation network by opening seven new service points across the federal capital, making it easier for motorists to complete mandatory tagging before enforcement begins.
According to the administration, the new centers will operate from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., providing an extended 12-hour window for vehicle owners to get their M-Tags installed and avoid last-minute rush and delays.
New M-Tag Installation Points (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
The following locations have been designated as M-Tag installation points in Islamabad:
- Kachnar Park, I-8
- Islamabad Club
- Lake View Park
- F-9 Park
- Tarlai
- Gulberg Greens
- 26 Number Chungi
These points are expected to facilitate thousands of daily commuters, particularly those who use the motorway and major routes in and around the capital.
Additional M-Tag Service at Excise and Taxation Office
In addition to the seven new locations, the administration has also activated M-Tag services at the Excise and Taxation Office in H-9.
This office will operate under separate timings from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., helping to manage heavy footfall and offering citizens another convenient option later in the day.
By expanding service points and extending operating hours, the ICT administration aims to ensure that motorists can complete the mandatory M-Tag installation process smoothly and on time, reducing congestion and streamlining toll operations on connected routes.
