The district administration of Loralai has successfully restored 52 non-functional schools this month in an effort to promote education and reduce the growing number of out-of-school children in the area. As part of this initiative, 14 occupied schools have been reclaimed from local occupants to ensure that public buildings are utilized for their intended educational purposes.
Thanks to the efforts of Deputy Commissioner Mehran Baloch, 27 primary schools have been upgraded to middle-level institutions, with teachers appointed to begin classes. Additionally, 15 teachers have been terminated for continuous absenteeism, with their salaries to be deducted accordingly.
Deputy Commissioner Mehran Baloch emphasized the district administration’s commitment to advancing education, pledging to reopen non-functional schools and take strict action against absentee teachers. He warned teaching staff to fulfill their duties diligently and avoid absenteeism, stating that any failure to do so would result in severe consequences.
A comprehensive plan has been implemented to ensure the reopening of closed schools across the district and the availability of teachers. The deputy commissioner reiterated that all available resources would be utilized to improve the education sector and provide quality education to the masses, stressing the importance of enlightening the new generation through education.
