KIA has recently announced a series of price reductions for various car models in Pakistan. This move comes in response to the recent strengthening of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar (USD), demonstrating the company’s commitment to passing on the benefits of this favorable currency exchange rate to customers. These price adjustments aim to make KIA vehicles more competitive and appealing in the market.
Notably, the Sorento variants, including the 3.5L FWD, 2.4L AWD, and 2.4FWD, have experienced significant price cuts of Rs500,000 each. The revised prices for these models are now Rs11.29 million, Rs11.2 million, and Rs10.3 million, respectively. It’s important to note that these reduced prices apply exclusively to customers opting for full payment.
In addition to the Sorento, other KIA models have also witnessed price reductions. The Sportage (Black Limited Edition) now comes at a price reduced by Rs350,000, while the Sportage AWD/FWD models have seen a decrease of Rs150,000. Furthermore, the Picanto AT model has seen a price reduction of Rs100,000. These revised prices are expected to take effect from October 6, 2023.
KIA has clarified that any potential new or additional duties and taxes imposed by the government upon delivery will be the responsibility of the customer. This underscores that the mentioned prices are subject to change in response to any alterations in government tax policies.
