Khurram Mushtaq has been appointed as the acting CEO of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) by the PIA Board of Directors, following the conclusion of Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat’s tenure. Mushtaq, a seasoned executive with a strong aviation background, has previously headed several key departments at PIA, including commercial, airport services, and flight services.
Additionally, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has granted the government permission to proceed with PIA’s privatization, ensuring a transparent process.
