Deputy Commissioner Captain (r) Aurangzeb Haider Khan recently announced a local holiday on August 31, 2024, in Kasur district to commemorate the Urs of Hazrat Bulleh Shah, a beloved Sufi poet and philosopher. The Urs celebrations will begin on August 30 and continue for three days.
According to the official notification issued by the DC Kasur, the holiday will allow residents to fully participate in the cultural and spiritual festivities honoring Hazrat Bulleh Shah. The event is expected to attract devotees and admirers from across Pakistan, featuring poetry recitations, musical performances, and spiritual gatherings dedicated to the saint’s teachings.
