The Islamabad Police has officially launched a new mobile application called ‘1 Info’, designed to enable citizens to report crimes, emergencies, or suspicious activities instantly with just one tap.
Available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, the app allows users to send real-time alerts directly to police control rooms, ensuring quicker response times and improved public safety across the capital.
According to officials, the launch of ‘1 Info’ reflects Islamabad Police’s efforts toward digital transformation and better community engagement. The platform aims to bridge the gap between law enforcement and residents, making policing faster, smarter, and more accessible.
Citizens are encouraged to use the app to:
- Report crimes or emergencies
- Share suspicious activity or evidence
- Request immediate police assistance
The department also recently issued a public advisory against fake calls and SMS scams, warning residents not to share personal or financial information with unknown contacts. Authorities emphasized that the safest way to report concerns is through official channels such as the ‘1 Info’ app or the Islamabad Police website.
The introduction of this platform marks a significant step towards tech-driven law enforcement in Pakistan’s capital.
