A Prestigious Collaboration
For the first time in history, Pakistan will host its Mathematics Olympiad which is to take place courtesy of a joint venture between Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) and Lahore University Management Sciences(LUMS). Players enter the prestigious tournament with dream of making it to their national mathematical Olympiad team and competing against other top-performing students from throughout the country.
Difficult Battles Will Be Fought
It will contain hard problems and fierce exams that would stretch mathematical knowledge. Students across the regions will be able to demonstrate their problem-solving orientation, and critical analytical skills thus creating an ethos of academic excellence with intellectual curiosity.
A Landmark for Budding Mathematicians
It will serve as a coming-of-age for students that have been working hard towards mathematics, who would like to put their efforts in the title of competitive problem-solvers. Not only will it help boost their problem-solving skills, they can also get some well-deserved experience and recognition in the academic field.

The collaboration between FBISE and LUMS for its endorsement of mathematical sciences shows the mutual interest in enhancing requisite standards to foster young talent. Through presenting a test in this competitive and friendly context, the Olympiad hopes to engage students interested in mathematics and related fields even more.
