Pakistan Oilfields Limited (POL), an oil and gas exploration company, has announced the discovery of hydrocarbon reserves at its Razgir-1 exploratory well located in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered 27,542 new companies in the fiscal year 2023-24, bringing the total to 222,697. Among the new incorporations, 780 companies are related to corporate agricultural farming, and 560 are in the power generation sector.
