Arslan Ash, the video game celebrity from Pakistan, coached aspiring Tekken players in Saudi Arabia and played Tekken with the country’s royal elite.
For the first time in his career, Arslan led a group of young gamers, expanding his skill set. The champion of Tekken talked about his experience on social media. I’ve returned from an incredible trip to Saudi Arabia! coached at @GosuAcademy and had a great time playing Tekken with a royal. Let’s get started on our Evo Japan training now that I’m back home.
At the Tekken World Tour 2023 Global Finals in New Orleans, Louisiana, the United States, Arslan Ash retained his title as the current champion of Tekken 7’s most recent big tournament, TWT (Tekken World Tour) 2023.
Arslan Ash, along with CBM and ULSAN from South Korea, occupied the top three positions. Throughout the competition, the Pakistani video game hero took on five different personas, including his iconic Kunimitsu, Zafina, Nina, Noctis, and Katarina.
When CMB and Arslan Ash faced off in the grand finals, Ash unexpectedly unleashed Katarina in opposition to CBM’s Noctis. Although Arslan won the set 3-1, the matches in the series were very close throughout.
As the winner, Arslan received a $50,000 grand prize, while CBM and ULSAN received awards of $13,000 and $6,000, respectively.
With his triumph in the EVO Championship last year, Arslan became the first person to win four EVO trophies in the history of Tekken, not just in Tekken 7, the world’s largest fighting game tournament.
