In a powerful tribute to one of Pakistan’s oldest indigenous communities, the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and Nomad Gallery launched an exhibition and documentary titled Rekindling: The Kalash Narrative.

Held at PNCA’s Gallery #6, the event highlights the rich traditions, vibrant festivals, and daily life of the Kalash people through curated visuals and a short documentary film.
Cultural Preservation in Focus
Senator Sherry Rehman inaugurated the event, calling it “a vital step in preserving Pakistan’s cultural diversity.” The initiative aims to raise awareness about the community’s unique identity and the modern-day challenges it faces.
