Zindigi, powered by JS Bank, has introduced Zindigi Pay, Pakistan’s most accessible contactless payment solution. Unlike other payment systems in the country, Zindigi Pay is designed to be inclusive, allowing all digital wallets, not just Zindigi’s, to participate. This makes it the preferred payment solution for both individuals and businesses.
With Zindigi Pay, customers can make payments not only at retail outlets but also transfer money to others using the same touchless method. The service leverages the State Bank’s Raast QR system, eliminating the need for additional hardware like special cases or NFC-enabled devices. Essentially, your phone becomes a POS machine, offering widespread accessibility.
Zindigi Pay is one of the largest contactless payment networks in Pakistan, ensuring broad availability across the country. It aligns with the global advancements in digital payments while addressing challenges such as customer trust, regulatory compliance, and tech infrastructure. By reducing dependency on mobile phones and POS machines, Zindigi Pay supports the State Bank of Pakistan’s vision of interoperability and convenience across digital wallets.
Noman Azhar, Chief Officer of Zindigi, emphasized that the platform is dedicated to simplifying finances and empowering everyone to pay without dependency barriers. This initiative aligns with SBP’s vision of transitioning from a cash-heavy system to a more convenient digital economy.
Zindigi is committed to driving digital innovation in Pakistan, making financial transactions more accessible, secure, and convenient for all, regardless of technical expertise or economic status. This initiative reflects Zindigi’s mission to lead in digital finance and ensure that no one is left behind in the journey toward a cashless society.
