Pakistan and Romania have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The MoU was signed by Eduard-Robert Preda, Charge D’Affaires of the Embassy of Romania to Pakistan, and Sohail Shamim Firpo, Chairman of the Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC). The agreement recognizes PRBC’s outstanding contributions since 2011 in promoting trade between the two countries.
The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation between the Romanian Embassy and PRBC, with the Embassy pledging full support for PRBC’s initiatives to promote and strengthen bilateral trade. The protocol also acknowledges PRBC’s recent expansion with the formation of its North Chapter.
The embassy and PRBC will collaborate to enhance economic cooperation and bilateral trade between Romania and Pakistan, aiming to foster greater economic ties and mutual benefits for both nations. The signing of this protocol marks a significant milestone in the bilateral relations between Romania and Pakistan.
