The closing ceremony for the overseas training of Pakistani trainees from the Shandong Zhongyang Group was held at Longping Hall, Qiushi Building, Binhai Campus of Liaoning Petrochemical College (LNPC).
Attendees included Wang Xianhong, General Manager of the International Petrochemical Industry Park of Shandong Zhongyang Group; Zhang Zhenguo, Vice President of TANG International Education Group; Muhammad Bilal Tahir, Deputy Dean of the Natural and Applied Science School of Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology; Fu Haihua, Chief Engineer of Jinzhou Fenghan Industrial Co., Ltd.; Yu Zhongdang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of LNPC; Yu Li, Secretary of the Committee for Discipline Inspection of LNPC; Yang Liancheng, Vice President of LNPC, and Hao Wanxin, Vice President of LNPC, who presided over the ceremony held last month.
Yu Zhongdang expressed his gratitude to the Embassy of Pakistan in China, the Educational Department of Liaoning Province, Shandong Zhongyang Group, and TANG International Education Group. He congratulated the trainees on their successful three-month training, which covered natural gas-based methyl alcohol production, chemical engineering units, instrument control, and equipment emergency, supplemented with Chinese cultural courses. The training improved the trainees’ practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and Chinese proficiency.
The “Belt and Road” Initiative has strengthened relations between China and relevant countries, and the program aimed to cultivate skilled professionals familiar with Chinese culture and vocational education. The training also established a “going global” model integrating production and teaching.
Wang Xianhong praised the training’s effectiveness and expressed hope for ongoing collaboration with LNPC. Muhammad Bilal Tahir acknowledged the enhanced skills of the trainees and suggested further cooperation between institutions. Zhang Zhenguo highlighted LNPC’s commitment to high-quality training and the successful implementation of the “Chinese + vocational skills” model.
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Liaoning Petrochemical College, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, and TANG International Education Group. The ceremony concluded with the announcement of the successful completion of the training program.
