The development of two five-star hotels in Islamabad, either individually or through joint ventures, has been suggested by the Pakistani government to Saudi Arabia.
This offer is made in conjunction with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud’s visit to Pakistan, during which talks about bilateral relations and economic cooperation are the main topics of conversation.
Pakistan has reportedly invited Saudi Arabia to contribute to the development of two opulent hotels in Islamabad. In one plan, land is provided by the Capital Development Authority, and building is handled by Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia also has the option to buy land on its own.
Discussions about PIA, airports, investments in First Woman Bank, and the Mitairi Transmission Line were also covered during the meeting with the Saudi foreign minister.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had earlier stated that Pakistan is eager to improve bilateral ties with Saudi Arabia, especially in the areas of investment and trade.
