Pakistani speed bowler Naseem Shah has won a prominent position among the top-priced players in England’s cricket event, ‘The Hundred’ Players Draft.
Birmingham Phoenix successfully acquired Naseem Shah for £125,000, making him the first Pakistani player to enter the coveted category at a price of GBP 125,000. His profits in Pakistani rupees are believed to be approximately 4.5 crore rupees.
Pakistan’s Imad Wasim and Shaheen Shah Afridi have also been selected to compete in The Hundred. Trent Rockets signed Imad Wasim for £100,000, while Welsh Fire re-signed Shaheen Shah Afridi for the second season in a row for the same fee. Furthermore, Welsh Fire kept Haris Rauf, while Manchester Originals retained Usama Mir.
