Kia Pakistan, a subsidiary of Lucky Motors Corporation (LMC), has recently announced its second price reduction in a month for select vehicle models. This decision comes as a response to the appreciation of the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against the US Dollar, which has allowed the company to offer more affordable options to its customers.
This move underscores Kia’s dedication to providing value and satisfaction to its loyal customer base.
The price reductions came into effect on October 31, 2023, and primarily target two popular models: the Kia Sorento and Kia Carnival.
For the Kia Sorento, the price reductions are significant for both full payment and monthly installment options. For instance, the Sorento 2.4L FWD now costs Rs. 8,999,000 after a reduction of Rs. 1,301,000 in its full payment price. The monthly installment price has also been lowered by Rs. 1,601,000, making it Rs. 9,199,000.
The Sorento 2.4L AWD and 3.5L FWD have also seen substantial reductions in their full payment and monthly installment prices, making them more accessible to consumers.
Furthermore, the Kia Carnival Executive is now priced at Rs. 16,000,000, compared to its previous price of Rs. 17,150,000, reflecting a reduction of Rs. 1,150,000.
These price reductions are a positive development for potential car buyers in Pakistan, making Kia vehicles more affordable and accessible due to the favorable exchange rate between PKR and USD. This demonstrates Kia’s commitment to its customers and their satisfaction, offering more people the opportunity to own their vehicles.
Starting from October 31, 2023, all Kia orders will be invoiced at the newly reduced ex-factory prices, ensuring that customers can take advantage of the lower rates. These adjusted prices for the Sorento and Carnival models are valid until December 31, 2023, providing a limited-time opportunity to purchase these vehicles at a more affordable cost.
Additionally, customers can benefit from cash-back offers on the Picanto AT and Sportage models, with discounts of PKR 50,000 and PKR 150,000, respectively, available until November 30, 2023. It’s important to note that the ex-factory prices do not include freight and insurance charges, and any additional government-imposed duties or taxes upon delivery are the customer’s responsibility.
