Pakistani Tekken legend Arslan ‘Ash’ Siddique continued to impress, clinching the Uprising Korea 2023 championship with a commanding 3-0 victory over South Korea’s Galgonge in the finals.
Arslan secured his spot in the Winners’ final by defeating Atif Khan 2-1 in the Winners’ semi-final. While he narrowly lost to Galgonge in the Winners’ Final with a score of 3-2, Arslan made a strong comeback to win the Losers Final against Varrel Pinya 3-1, earning a place in the Grand Final, where he faced Galgonge once more.
In the Grand Final, Arslan triumphed over Galgonge with a 3-1 score, claiming the championship. Notably, Galgonge had previously defeated Arslan in the Winners Final. They had a rematch in the Grand Final Reset, where Arslan dominated with a 3-0 victory, securing his title.
Arslan has also gained fame as a four-time EVO champion, notably defeating Japan’s AO 3-0 in the grand final in August. He is widely recognized as one of the greatest Tekken players ever and was honored as the best E-Player of 2019 by ESPN.
Arslan also holds titles like CEO 2021 Champion and the 2022 Combo Breaker Tekken 7 tournament winner, where he emerged victorious against all ten of his opponents.
