Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has announced a major expansion of the Minority Support Card initiative, raising the number of beneficiaries to 75,000 deserving individuals from minority communities.
Under the program, each eligible person will receive Rs 10,500 every quarter to help meet essential needs. The government has also introduced additional facilities to make the scheme more accessible and transparent.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Hold a valid CNIC and be registered with NADRA
- Have a Poverty Means Test (PMT) score of 45 or below
- Pass verification checks through NADRA, BISP, and PSPA databases

The expansion is seen as a step forward in the Punjab government’s agenda to ensure social inclusion and financial support for underprivileged minority groups across the province.
