Crafted with the Lottie framework, these animated emojis maintain high quality while ensuring optimal performance for a delightful user experience. However, not all emojis on the app will have animated versions; only a select few, such as the laughing emojis and the red heart emoji, will appear animated when sent.
To see which emojis have the animated effect and if the user has the feature in their app, they will need to send the emoji while chatting. Emojis without animated versions will remain in their usual form. WhatsApp developers plan to add more animated emojis in the future using the Lottie library for design.
