Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Candidates should hold a Master’s, Bachelor’s, or equivalent degree with a minimum of 16 years of education. They should have achieved a minimum of 60% marks (or a GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 or 3.5 out of 5.0 for GPAs). Degrees in fields such as Computer Sciences, Information Systems and Technology, Data Sciences, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related IT areas are preferred. For foreign degrees, an equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Commission (HEC) is required.
- Age: The maximum age limit is 26 years as of the date of the newspaper advertisement (October 15, 2023). Relaxations are available for various categories, including female candidates, transgender individuals, candidates from minority groups, and specific regions.
- Experience: While fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, candidates with up to one year of relevant experience may receive preference.
Application and Testing Procedure:
- Eligible Pakistani citizens, including those from Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, can submit their applications through the National Testing Service (NTS) website (https://www.nts.org.pk) starting from October 15, 2023.
- Applications should contain all necessary details, such as a photograph, date of birth, and other essential information. Incomplete or non-compliant applications will not be considered.
- The deadline for application submission is October 30, 2023, and in-person or email submissions will not be accepted.
- Shortlisted candidates will receive communication from NTS via SMS and will be provided with admit cards for the written test at designated test centers.
Selection Procedure:
- Candidates meeting the criteria will be invited for further selection stages, which include group discussions, psychometric testing, and panel interviews. During this process, candidates should provide printed copies of their completed application forms, attested copies of educational/professional documents, an Equivalence Certificate from HEC (if applicable), proof of NTS fee payment, domicile, CNIC, and passport-sized photographs.
- False information or attempts to influence the recruitment process will result in disqualification.
- The selection will adhere to the prescribed provincial/regional quota provisions set by the Government of Pakistan.
Pre-Induction Training:
- Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive training, including medical and psychological assessments and verification of educational documents before being appointed as Assistant Directors (OG-2) at SBP.
Compensation Package:
- Upon completing their training, successful candidates will begin as Assistant Directors (OG-2) at SBP, with a starting monthly salary of Rs. 120,000 or in accordance with the prevailing emoluments of successful candidates. Further benefits and salary scales will align with bank regulations. During the training period, trainees will receive a monthly stipend equivalent to half of their salary.
