The nation is set to conduct its general elections on February 8th of the following year. This determination arose from a meeting in Islamabad between President Dr. Arif Alvi and a delegation led by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja, as directed by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The meeting, held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, included key officials and aimed to set the date for the upcoming general elections. During the meeting, the President received updates on the progress of delimitation and election preparation by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Following a thorough discussion, the decision was made unanimously to hold the general elections on February 8th next year.
