The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced the launch of a Mobile Registration Drive in the United Kingdom, starting August 23, 2025. The initiative aims to provide overseas Pakistanis with easier access to vital identification services.
As part of the drive, mobile registration vans will be available in Banbury (near Birmingham) and Brierfield (near Manchester). Services will include:
- Renewal of Computerised National Identity Cards (CNICs)
- Issuance and renewal of National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs)
- Provision of Family Registration Certificates (FRCs)
To ensure smooth processing, NADRA has advised applicants to bring their old CNICs or B-Forms. Dedicated female staff and separate counters for women will also be available to provide a comfortable experience for families.
In addition to the mobile vans, NADRA continues to encourage overseas Pakistanis to use its Pak-ID mobile app, which enables users to renew CNICs, register births and marriages, and even apply for government jobs online.
For updates, applicants can visit NADRA’s official website or join their WhatsApp channel. Complaints can also be lodged via NADRA’s online portal.
This initiative follows earlier improvements for expatriates, including the upgraded one-window facilitation desk at Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar, designed to simplify access to digital identity services.
With these measures, NADRA is strengthening its commitment to serving Pakistanis abroad by bringing essential services closer to their communities.
