The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has taken a major step toward improving public service delivery by releasing a comprehensive list of over 3,000 e-Sahulat centers operating across Pakistan. This initiative aims to make essential identity-related services more accessible, especially for citizens living in remote and underserved regions.
According to officials, the newly published list not only highlights the locations of these centers but also includes details about the respective center owners, ensuring transparency and accountability. The e-Sahulat centers are designed to provide a wide range of services that previously required physical visits to NADRA offices.
Convenience at Your Doorstep
Through these centers, citizens can now easily apply for and renew their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs), significantly reducing the need to travel long distances. Additionally, parents can obtain B-Forms for children under the age of 10, making the process of registering young citizens much more convenient.
The initiative also facilitates the cancellation of CNICs belonging to deceased individuals, ensuring that records remain accurate and up-to-date. This decentralized approach reflects NADRA’s commitment to modernizing public services and making them more citizen-friendly.
Relief for Remote Areas
One of the key benefits of this initiative is its impact on people living in rural and far-flung areas. Previously, many citizens had to spend both time and money traveling to major cities just to access basic services. With the expansion of e-Sahulat centers, these barriers are being significantly reduced.
By bringing services closer to communities, NADRA is not only saving citizens’ time but also helping reduce costs associated with transportation and long waiting times at central offices.
Important Advisory on Fraudulent Websites
Alongside this positive development, NADRA has issued a strong warning regarding fraudulent websites impersonating official government platforms. These fake sites are reportedly being used to steal personal and financial information from unsuspecting users.
The authority has urged citizens to exercise caution and always verify the authenticity of websites before entering sensitive data. It clarified that Pakistan’s online visa services are only available through official government portals.
NADRA emphasized that it does not partner with any third-party websites offering visa or identity-related services. Citizens are strongly advised to avoid unauthorized platforms, as the government will not be responsible for any financial losses or misuse of personal data resulting from such interactions.
Moving Toward Digital Pakistan
This initiative marks another important milestone in Pakistan’s journey toward digital transformation. By expanding access to identity services and raising awareness about online security, NADRA continues to play a crucial role in improving governance and public service delivery.
Citizens can access the complete list of e-Sahulat centers through NADRA’s official website.
