Interloop Limited is set to provide 200 subsidized motorbikes to empower girls and women. These motorbikes will be distributed among the company’s female employees, students of GCWUF (Government College Women University Faisalabad), faculty of The Citizens Foundation, and the general public who have received training and licensing through the #WomenOnWheels program.
The goal is to increase the number of motorbikes to 500. So far, the Salman Sufi Foundation has trained 1,200 girls, and the aim is to empower a total of 2,000 girls. The entire project is estimated to cost Rs 55 million.
