Dr. Salah bin Mohammad Al-Budair, the esteemed Imam of Masjid Al-Nabawi, arrived in Pakistan on Thursday for a seven-day official visit. He was warmly received at Islamabad International Airport by Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Secretary of Religious Affairs Zulfiqar Haider, and other officials.
Minister Salik highlighted that this visit would further enhance the strong ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, promoting religious and cultural cooperation. During his stay, Imam Al-Budair is set to lead the Friday prayer at Faisal Mosque and meet with President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and other prominent leaders. Additionally, he will engage in discussions with Pakistani religious scholars.
